NDSS ADULT SUMMIT

The Down Syndrome Guild is now accepting scholarship applications to send one self-advocate with Down syndrome and up to two parents/guardians to the 3rd Annual National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) Adult Summit in Scottsdale, AZ.  

The 2020 NDSS Adult Summit will cover important and critical topics for all adults with Down syndrome and I/DD. Speakers and topics will align with NDSS’ comprehensive programs and pillars – including healthcare, research, inclusive education, community integration, caregiving, economic self-sufficiency, aging-related health issues and employment.  The Adult Summit is applicable for all individuals who play any role in the life of individuals who have Down syndrome or are within the I/DD community with a specific focus on caregivers, family members, professionals, and individuals with Down syndrome.  To learn more about the Adult Summit, please visit the NDSS website at https://www.ndss.org/engage/ndss-syndrome-adult-summit-2020/.

The Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas is pleased to now offer membership at no cost to anyone with an interest in Down syndrome; however, we do ask that you consider making a financial contribution to our annual appeal campaign. To become a member, simply complete the form below with your current contact information allowing us to include you in our resource updates, newsletters, and event invitations. Please note that in an effort to better support the mission statement of the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas ("DSG"), which is "to provide accurate and current information, resources and support for people with Down syndrome, their families and the community," all social programming events sponsored by the DSG will be offered to people with Down syndrome and their families. Social event attendees must be active members of the DSG and have a diagnosis of Down syndrome.
