Join us in Dallas on September 30, 2023, for a six-hour program covering Wrightslaw Special Education Law and Advocacy Conference lead by Wayne Steedman, Esq.
Special Education Law & Advocacy Training Program (one day, 6 hours) focuses on four areas:
special education law, rights and responsibilities
tests and measurements to measure progress & regression
SMART IEPs
introduction to tactics & strategies for effective advocacy
Wrightslaw programs are designed to meet the needs of parents, educators, health care providers, advocates, and attorneys who represent children with disabilities regarding special education. The program is not Down syndrome specific.

*The three books will be provided the morning of the conference and then, during the program, Wrightslaw will provide a link so that attendees will be able to download those three books in the adobe.pdf format. The three print AND pdf books retail for $103.70.

POST CONFERENCE HAPPY HOUR
Join us after the conference for Happy Hour from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm on the covered outdoor terrace at the Irving Convention Center!
Enjoy mingling with other parents, educators and professionals after the final session. Tickets are $20 and will include 2 drink tickets along with appetizers. Cash bar will be available.
Appetizers include Mini Brisket Taco with Roasted Corn And Cabbage Slaw and Southwest Shrimp Quesadillas with Cilantro and Spinach served with Sweet Onion Mango Relish.
