The Texas Education Agency is the state agency that oversees primary and secondary public education.

TEXAS ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (TEKS)
Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) are the state standards for Texas public schools from kindergarten to year 12.

PARTNERS RESOURCE NETWORK PATH PROJECT
The PATH Project is one of three federally funded Parent Training and Information Centers (PTI) serving Texas parents of children and youth with disabilities ages 0-26. PATH offers individual assistance over the phone and in-person, workshops and webinars on a variety of special education topics, and access to resources such as printed publications and online courses.

SPEDTEX SPECIAL EDUCATION INFORMATION CENTER
SpedTex provides information and resources that can help you understand your child’s disability, your rights and responsibilities under Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and facilitate collaboration that supports the development and delivery of services to children with disabilities in Texas.

DISABILITY RIGHTS TEXAS - EDUCATION
Assists people with disabilities in Texas understand and exercise their rights under the law, ensuring their full and equal participation in society.

A project of the Family to Family Network committed to providing accurate and consistent information to parents and families of students with disabilities.

REGION 10 EDUCATION SERVICE CENTER
The Region 10 Special Populations Department is dedicated to improving results for infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities ages birth through 21 by providing leadership, technical assistance, and professional development to local districts and charters, teachers, administrators, parents of students with disabilities, and adult students with disabilities.

REGION 11 EDUCATION SERVICE CENTER
The ESC Region 11 Special Education Department is dedicated in helping parents, administrators, and educators understand how to best meet the needs of students with learning differences.

DOWN SYNDROME EDUCATION INTERNATIONAL AND USA
Organization working to improve early intervention and education for children with Down syndrome around the world. DSE offers training and consulting services, online training and support, and more.
