CDC GROWTH CHARTS FOR CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME
These charts can help healthcare providers monitor growth among children with Down syndrome and assess how well a child with Down syndrome is growing when compared to peers with Down syndrome.

PEDIATRIC DOWN SYNDROME CLINIC AT CHILDREN’S HEALTH℠
Specialty clinic in Dallas designed to provide comprehensive medical care, with a primary focus on behavioral health needs, to children with Down syndrome until age 18. A team of providers from different disciplines come together to provide a variety of services, often within one visit. Providers include a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics fellow, Developmental Nurse Practitioner, Geneticist, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Genetic Counselor, and Social Worker.

DOWN SYNDROME CLINIC TO YOU (DSC2U)
With DSC2U, caregivers have an opportunity to complete an online intake form, where they can identify current health concerns about their son or daughter with Down syndrome. The responses will generate two personalized documents–a plan for caregivers and another one for the primary care provider.

HEALTH CARE INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME (AAP)
Created in July 2013 by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) to give parents and families information about the health care needs for children with Down syndrome. This document should be used together with the care given by a child’s doctor.

DOWN SYNDROME MEDICAL INTEREST GROUP-USA (DSMIG-USA)
Membership organization that consists of professionals from a variety of disciplines who provide care to individuals with Down syndrome and/or their families. DSMIG-USA fosters professional growth through the dissemination of information about evidence-based practice and shared common experiences that inform best practices in the care of individuals with Down syndrome.
