BUDDY UP FOR LIFE
Dallas, TX
Formerly known as Buddy Up Tennis. Buddy Up for Life Dallas features a 90-minute tennis clinic consisting of 60 minutes of professional tennis instruction and 30 minutes of fitness conditioning for Athletes ages 5 and over. Each Athlete is partnered with a volunteer Buddy to maximize their experience. The Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas is a proud sponsor of Buddy Up for Life Dallas.

Carrollton Parks and Recreation Adaptive Recreation programs offer recreational opportunities for individuals with special needs from 6 years old to over 99 years of age. Programs are offered year round and provide a variety of activities such as; fitness, crafts and fine arts, education, outings and a variety of other programs that meet the needs of children/teens and adults with all abilities.

Plano Parks and Recreation Adapted Recreation programs offer recreational opportunities for individuals with special needs from 12 months to over 60 years of age. Programs are offered year round and provide a variety of activities such as; fitness, crafts and fine arts, education, outings and a variety of other programs that meet the needs of children/teens and adults with disabilities.

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
