The purpose of the annual Buddy Walk® is to promote awareness and inclusion of people with Down syndrome while raising funds that support the mission and programs of the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas (DSG).

This year, the DSG invites you to celebrate with us the entire month of October as we commemorate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in a new way. Teams will have the flexibility to create and host celebrations of their choosing that adhere to local restrictions and the comfort level of their team members. Teams will be recognized and honored all month long for their creative celebrations followed by an interactive, virtual Buddy Walk® Finish Line event hosted by the DSG on Sunday, November 8.

Registration is $15 for adults, $5 for kids ages 12 and under, and free for all individuals with Down syndrome. All proceeds of the 2020 Buddy Walk® directly benefit the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas to support more than 2,000 individuals with Down syndrome and their families across North Texas.
