DCT Sensory Friendly Performances create a positive, fun atmosphere for families with sensory needs. General production adaptations include leaving the house lights up a few levels higher than for a standard performance and reducing the sound level. Quiet Rooms are also available for children who may need a break.

Especially Needed’s mission is to build a strong community where individuals with special needs are valued, respected, and included. The organization offers a variety of social opportunities including an annual Easter Eggstravaganza.

The Friendship Circle is dedicated to helping children and young adults with special needs to become more fully integrated into the broader community. The program allows children and young adults with diverse abilities to enjoy the company of teenage and young adult volunteers in a full range of social activities.
